Shawn entered the life insurance business as a debit insurance agent with an old home service company in 1982. In 1989 he left the career path becoming an MGA and successfully partnered with a P & C agency. In 1992 he began doing seminars on Advanced Estate and Retirement Planning. In 1994 he began hosting a radio program that was on 3 different local stations and aired 3 times a week. He had sales performance in the top 5% of sales organizations he was contracted with over 10 times and once led the entire distribution chain he was affiliated with in premium and commissions. In 2015 he moved back into the FM0 space, and has been instrumental in growing the list of active producers at TWH as well as increasing life production by over 3,000%. He currently resides in the mountains of western NC and enjoys seasonal hiking and biking. He has 4 children and 7 grandchildren.
