A Few Ideas to SPRING to
In my position in TWH, I have a unique ability to be not only an Employee of TWH (coming up or surpassing 9 years), but also allows me to be an Independent Adviser as well. This gives me 100% clarity in speaking to other brokers and advisors that partner with TWH since I live in their world as well.
So when I write about a few marketing tips or other prospecting suggestions, it isn’t theory so much, but my own experiences whether it’s good or not so good.
So here in March—one of my favorite months due to wonderful golfing weather — I thought to “spring” out with a very simple and effective practice to help increase your commissions.
Become a Friend to Your Own Home and Auto Insurance Agent
If you are insured by a company without a local agent but an only on-line carrier, switch to a local Independent guy or gal. If I could show you how much money I have made by getting referrals from 3-4 P&C agencies throughout the years, it would make you wonder why you haven’t thought of this a long time ago.
Life, Annuities, Living Trusts and Medicare, things most of them don’t want to deal with.
But guess what? Commission splits are easy to deal with. And, if you do all the work, they will love the extra cash they make from the split commission you share with them. Then they will always be on the lookout for the next opportunity to give you another referral.
I would love to help you set up a system that duplicates my success in this arena.
