Our team

Tipton Huffman

“Tip” brings over 45 years of financial services sales and marketing experience to the agency. He has served on insurance company advisory committees; been published in major trade journals; and still assists agents with point-of-sale and technical advice. He is a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), as well as a Series 24 Registered Securities Principal.

The agency is an active member of The National Association for Fixed Annuities, where Tip serves on the Government Relations Committee. He has lobbied the cause for fixed-indexed annuities remaining under the jurisdiction of the State Insurance Departments before Senators and Congressmen, both at their state offices and in Washington, D.C.

Greg Skogsberg

Greg came to TWH in 2005, when he started as the Marketing Director. He moved up to Vice President of Sales in 2007, and then CEO in 2009. In 2013 he became a co-owner, and took over as President in 2015. Greg has creatively aided TWH to continually grow their sales and increase the number of advisors we are able to help—and help them grow their own sales.

Greg works in all aspects of the business—recruiting, marketing, carrier relations, back-office, proprietary programs—and continues to market and present the Seminar Selling System he helped to create back in 2005, which has been successfully helping our top producers non-stop ever since. He also works as direct liaison to several of our strategic partner marketing companies, to enhance our collective annuity sales and to guide business to our core carriers to increase their sales year after year. Greg has a vast knowledge of our industry and the various annuities offered, which he uses daily to work with top advisors on cases of all sizes and complexities.

Ami Skogsberg

Ami brings 10+ years professional experience in insurance customer relations, account management, brokerage sales & service, and benefits administration. As VP of Agency Services, Ami is in charge of everything that provides support to our agents: contracting, licensing, commissions, newsletters, carrier relations, carrier promotion, event coordination, and new business follow-up. She also is in charge of all of the agency back-office functions.

To top it all off, Ami is in charge of all of the TWH corporate administrative functions like payroll, accounting, finance, reports, data management, technology integration, and consultant & vendor management.

John Roberts

John has been a licensed agent since 1982. He started his career in life and disability, winning awards and accolades while serving clients in the first decade of this profession.

Recruited as a Senior Regional Sales Manager for one of the largest health insurance carriers in California (specializing in the senior Medicare market), John became an award-winning seminar speaker, doing hundreds of seminars each year, marketing and selling senior products throughout Southern California.

John has been with TWH as their Marketing Director since 2014, assisting brokers and agents in how to understand, market and sell annuities, life products and long-term care. He has a reputation of being available—call him and see! Cell# 951-452-7338

Mariah has been working in the annuities and insurance world for over 20 years, and has built both an impressive reputation and a remarkable network of connections within the industry. She is based out of the Tampa, FL area, which also helps expand our national marketing presence.
